The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce serves the businesses of the Chattanooga region with comprehensive strategies to accelerate economic growth and prosperity. The Chamber is responsible for business attraction, work force development, and assistance to small business startups, as well as expansion and retention of existing business and industry. The Chamber’s membership ranges from high-tech entrepreneurs to large manufacturing plants, and the organization targets businesses in the automotive, energy, food and beverage, medical, and insurance industries.

A new industrial shell building has been completed in Dyersburg, Tennessee. The 100,000-square-foot Expect II building features tilt-up concrete panel construction, with 30-foot clear ceiling height, conveniently located in the Dyersburg Commerce Park, with access to interstate highways within one-half mile of the site. The approximately 20-acre site allows for expansion up to 300,000 square feet, with adequate truck parking and a flexible number of dock doors as needed. All utilities are in place at the site, which is owned by the Dyer County Industrial Board. The site itself is a certified “Deal Ready” site approved by the West Tennessee Industrial Association and a third-party consultant for immediate development.

The Fentress County Industrial Development Board is pleased to announce that construction on the Clarkrange Regional Business Park is well underway with water and sewer lines currently installed. The initial phase of the park consists of 244 acres with an option on another 750 acres. The Clarkrange Regional Business Park is located just east of US 127 on State Road 62, only 13 miles to Interstate 40.

The Four Lake Authority is unique. Created by State Legislature in 1986, activities were directed toward economic development in Macon, Smith, Sumner, Trousdale, and Wilson counties in Middle Tennessee. The 554-acre PowerCom Industrial Center became a reality in 2002 and is certified as a Deal Ready site. Located on State Highway 25 with Cumberland River access, PowerCom now offers available warehousing, a Business Incubator, a 54,000 sq.ft. Spec Building and large acreage sites.

The West Tennessee Industrial Association (WTIA) had its beginning in 1956 as a membership organization consisting of banks, electric and gas departments and even interested individuals. Today, WTIA is funded by the electric power distributors in West Tennessee who purchase power from the Tennessee Valley Authority. There are 23 electric power distributors in West Tennessee and 158 in the Tennessee Valley Area. We are a private, not-for-profit association, which works on a confidential basis to assist companies, site search consultants and our communities with economic development projects.
